Casa Torre

The Summer Residence above the Sea

The Mediterranean House on Minorca (Balearics)

Casa Torre is a privately owned summer residence in the southeast of the island of Minorca (Balearics) on an approximately 50 meters high rock plateau directly above the sea with an incredible view. Westwads from the house you have an unlimited view of the Mediterranean Sea and the opportunity to enjoy breathtaking sunsets.

With an unrestricted view from our house the fascinating bay of Cala en Porter with his marvelous 150 m long white and sandy beach is to admire. The bay is surrounded by up to 200m high, steep rising skywards rock formations. At the end of the deep carved bay there is a wonderful, gently into the sea running, white sand beach which is accessible from the house by foot in less than 20 minutes. During the summer months the bay invites with its very calm, azure shimmering water not only for swimming, snorkelling or canoeing, but is also a popular destination for exclusive boats and yachts.

The property is terraced and has several small places to stay, from which one you can enjoy the unique nature to the fullest. At eye level seagulls fly around elegant and impress with spectacular flight maneuvers in their search for food. Moreover, on a clear day the neighboring island Mallorca is well visible and with good luck dolphins will swim just below the house. Based on the exceptional location of the summer residence and its immediate proximity to the nature you will have the feeling of limitless freedom and probably one of the best views of Minorca.

Just around the corner the most famous cave of the island is located, Cova d’en Xoroi. The corresponding village is called Cala en Porter (Cala’n Porter). Cala en Porter is one of the first developed tourism places on Minorca. The small international airport on Minorca is less than 15 km away and can be reached by car in approximately 15 minutes.
